Samsung And Sprint PCS Show 3G Phones

Samsung and Sprint PCS today unveiled two new CDMA2000 3G 1x phones. The SPH-A500 and SPH-N400 both feature full 3G data capability, full-color displays and polyphonic ringers. Both phones will work with Sprint's new 3G applications, including advanced messaging and wireless imaging. The 3G phones and services will be launched mid-2002.
Samsung is also showing the new CDMA2000 3G 1x SCH-A310 and GSM SGH-R225 at the CTIA show. Both phones were first announced during the recent Olympic Winter Games, but are being officially introduced at CTIA Wireless 2002.
