VoiceStream To Implement Emergency Priority Access

CTIA today announced an agreement between VoiceStream and the National Communications Systems for Priority Access for National Security and Emergency Preparedness (NS/EP) employees. Priority Access will allow designated NS/EP workers to access a portion of VoiceStream’s wireless network in times of national emergency. NS/EP users include federal workers such as the FBI, CIA, FEMA and managers such as the president, governors, mayors and their designees.
