Verizon Wireless today launched their enhanced Mobile Messenger SMS service. The service now lets customers with two-way messaging capable phones send and receive text messages with most other wireless customers, regardless of carrier, using only the 10-digit mobile number. The new system is the result of a partnership with InphoMatch, a leading provider of inter-carrier messaging solutions.
