The FCC this morning granted approval to New Horizons Technologies International for its Cyclone 1100A cell phone. The Cyclone is a disposable phone that resembles traditional cell phones, including the ability to make and receive calls. Cyclone is also refreshable, allowing more airtime to be added quickly and easily over-the-air. The analog phone lacks a display, but features an internal antenna and is powered by 3 AA batteries.
