Sprint PCS to Offer 3G BlackBerry

In a report released today, BMO Nesbitt Burns analyst Ray Sharma noted that Sprint PCS, which is not yet an announced RIM customer, is expected to launch a BlackBerry that runs on its next-generation CDMA 1xRTT network. The report focused on delays launching RIM's new GPRS device with AT&T Wireless and other carriers, but noted that a BlackBerry for Nextel's network is on track for a fall release.
