Nokia Ships CDMA 1x Handset

Nokia today announced that it has begun shipments of its 6370 wireless phone, Nokia's first handset with CDMA2000 1X technology. Leap Wireless, which offers the Cricket service, is the first carrier to market the phone. The 6370 is based Nokia's own CDMA2000 1X chipset.
