Nokia Introduces New Color-Display Phone

Nokia today announced a new tri-band GSM world phone with a 4096-color display. The Nokia 6610, which includes support for Java downloadable software and MMS multimedia messaging, is expected to begin shipping in the third quarter. Additional features include speakerphone, FM radio, polyphonic ringtones, Xpress-on™ custom covers, Pop-Port accessory connector, and GPRS high-speed data.
