TDMA Consortium To Dissolve

The Universal Wireless Communications Consortium LLC (UWCC) announced recently that its Board of Governors has voted to dissolve the organization in the near future. The UWCC was a group that promoted TDMA technology. This represents the continuing shift away from TDMA technology worldwide. Cingular and AT&T Wireless are currently migrating from TDMA technology to GSM.
