Samsung To License Nokia Series 60 Platform

(updated) Samsung and Nokia today announced an agreement whereby Samsung will license Nokia's Series 60 platform for their next generation of smart phones. Nokia has also licensed the platform to Siemens IC Mobile and Matsushita, the Japanese maker of Panasonic mobile phones. Series 60 is Nokia's platform for Symbian OS smartphones with large color screens, and is used in Nokia's 7650 model.
