Sonim Technologies yesterday announced that it has finalized a Platinum Technology Partner agreement with Symbian, the developer of Symbian OS. Sonim will work with Symbian to promote Push-To-Talk (PTT) and voice messaging over GPRS networks to leading manufacturers and carriers. Building on an existing relationship with Symbian, the new partnership includes an agreement to offer Sonim's PTT solutions for integration into Symbian's 7.0 OS. Sonim's platform will be available as additional functionality for all Symbian OS licensees.
