Sony Ericsson Unveils GSM Youth Phone

Sony Ericsson today unveiled the small and light T100 GSM mobile phone. Developed mainly for the low-price segment, the new T100 offers consumers EMS-messaging with pictures, sound and animations, and mobile Internet browsing with WAP. A GSM 900/1800 version will be available in most parts of the world in Q4 2002, while the phone will be introduced in some Western Europe markets during Q1 2003, and during the same time period there will be a GSM 850/1900 version for the Americas.
