Wavecom To Make CDMA Modules

Qualcomm and Wavecom today announced a CDMA module license agreement. Under the terms of the royalty-bearing agreement, Qualcomm has granted Wavecom a worldwide license to develop, manufacture and sell cdmaOne and CDMA2000 1X/1xEV-DO modules for use in wireless communications devices. Wavecom is known for its WISMO® modules, which are compact devices that include all of the hardware, software and other technology needed to enable wireless communications over GSM/GPRS, CDMA and future 3G networks.
