Kyocera Wireless and Wildseed today announced a partnership to launch a new wireless phone aimed at the youth market in early 2003. Internally code-named (DELTA)2, the phone features Wildseed's Smart Skin intelligent faceplate technology, which changes the exterior style of the phone, and also delivers new assets such as ringtones, video clips, pictures, games and Web links, all related to the Smart Skin's theme. Key features of the device include a color screen, FM radio and keypad music visualizer, and a rich two-way messaging interface that resembles PC-based instant messaging applications.
