AT&T Wireless Buys Bermuda GSM Network

AT&T Wireless last week announced its entrance into Bermuda through the acquisition of 60% of the shares of Telecom Bermuda's GSM business. AT&T Wireless has begun work to enhance wireless voice capacity and quality in Bermuda. In 2003, an upgrade to the network will bring GPRS data services to the network.
