Alltel Offers Kyocera Smartphone

Regional carrier Alltel today began offering the Kyocera 7135 smartphone, marking the domestic retail debut of the highly anticipated phone. The device features Palm OS, a small clamshell design, CDMA2000 1X technology, a 65,000-color display, and an expansion card slot. Since the announcement of the phone, more than 50,000 people have registered for email notification when it becomes available for purchase.
