Microsoft, Samsung, Hitachi Bring Pocket PC and Smartphone to CDMA

Microsoft today announced the availability of its Windows Powered Smartphone and Pocket PC software for CDMA and CDMA 1xRTT networks. Microsoft has been working closely with leading CDMA companies that expressed their support for this announcement, including Sprint PCS, Samsung, and Hitachi. Samsung today is officially announcing its i700 Pocket PC Phone Edition device, which features a large TFT color display and integrated camera. Hitachi is also expected to announce its Pocket PC Phone Edition Multimedia Communicator device this week.
