Curitel Preps Quadband Multimedia Phones

Wavecom today announced a contract with Korean handset vendor Curitel to provide its quadband WISMO modules to Curitel for integration into the company's new range of GSM/GPRS multi-media mobile phones, which are to be launched in the Chinese and U.S. markets in the third quarter of 2003. Curitel currently offers CDMA handsets in the U.S. under the Audiovox brand.
