AT&T, Sprint PCS To Collaborate On Tower Buildouts

AT&T Wireless and Sprint PCS today announced an agreement to cooperate in the construction of new wireless towers. The agreement will enable the companies to expand and enhance coverage faster and at lower cost. Under the terms of the agreement, the companies' Network Services groups will share information about their current tower inventories and future construction plans. AT&T Wireless and Sprint expect to begin implementing the agreement before the end of the quarter.
