Frog Design and Motorola today unveiled a set of Bluetooth-enabled wearable concept devices. The Offspring concept revolves around a "WDA" iDEN smartphone, which is also available in a wristwatch design. The concept also includes goggles with an integrated high-resolution heads-up display, a built-in video camera, and an earbud. Additional components include a seperate, tiny Bluetooth earbud, a small digital camera, and a wireless push-to-talk button. The concept is based on results of pervasive-computing research at MIT Media Lab, and uses available technology. Motorola plans to bring products to market based on the design within two years.
