RIM Announces Smaller GSM BlackBerry

Research In Motion (RIM) today unveiled two new BlackBerry™ models. The BlackBerry 6210™ and 6220™ feature the new compact design introduced with the BlackBerry 6510 for iDEN, increased memory, and support for wireless email sync and integrated attachment viewing. Both devices combine email, phone, SMS, browser and organizer functions. Additional features include J2ME Java and GPRS high-speed data. The 6210 operates on GSM 900/1900 networks worldwide, while the 6220 operates on GSM 900/1800 networks in Europe and Asia. Pricing and availability was not announced.
