Nokia Announces CDMA Trio

Nokia today revealed three new CDMA phones, a new accessory, and a new type of device. The phones cover the range from low- to high-end. All three use Nokia's latest CDMA2000 1xRTT chipset.

6585: Tri-mode, color display, MMS, internal antenna, FM radio, speakerphone, Java, and a small, light form factor. Available Q3.
3586i: Color-display update to the 3585i. Tri-mode, Java, voice dialing. Available Q2.
2200 Series: Voice dialing, voice memo, high-speed data, browser. 2285 is tri-mode, 2270 is PCS-only, and 2280 is CDMA 800 / AMPS 800. Available Q2.

The company also announced the Nokia Observation Camera, a GSM/GPRS 850/1900 device that takes pictures and sends them via MMS. It can be controlled remotely, or triggered by time, motion, or temperature. Nokia also announced an FM Radio Headset, which will initally be compatible with the Nokia 6100 phone.
