Starfish Acquired by Pumatech

Pumatech today announced that it has acquired Starfish Software, a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola. Both companies offer synchronization software and services. The acquisition combines Pumatech's expertise with PDAs and PCs with Starfish's expertise in the cell phone and over-the-air markets. Starfish will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Pumatech. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
