Motorola Touts Hardware Platform

At separate events this week and next, Motorola will be showcasing improved support for major operating systems with its Innovative Convergence™ hardware platform and ARM-based i.MX processors. At the Embedded Systems Conference West in San Francisco this week, the company will be demonstrating its i.MX processors powering Windows CE.NET 4.2. At the Symbian Exposium03 in London next week, Motorola will be launching a new integrated hardware-and-software solution for Symbian OS smartphones. The solution includes the i.Smart reference design for the i.250 2.5G platform, and its i.300 3G platform, both of which include i.MX processors.
