Ericsson Announces 2002 Lineup

Sony Ericsson today announced its 2002 product portfolio. Included in the launch were six new phones for the US market:
- P800: Flip design, GSM tri-band, large color touch-screen, built-in camera, GPRS, Bluetooth. Available Q3 2002.
- T206: Block design, tri-mode CDMA2000 1x, GPS, EMS, 7-line display. Available Q3 2002.
- T68i: Block design, GSM tri-band, color display, GPRS, MMS, supports camera attachment. Shipping now.
- T62u: Block design, GAIT (GSM/TDMA), GSM 850, Java, large grayscale display, 50 voice tags, GPRS, EMS. Available Q3 2002.
- T61g: Like T62u, but without GAIT (TDMA) or Java. One of the first GSM 850 phones. Available Q2 2002.
- T61z: Like T61g, but without GSM 850 (GSM 1900 only). Available Q2 2002.
