RIM Buys RF Engineering Firm

Research In Motion today announced that is has acquired a company called Paratek Microwave. Paratek creates adaptive tuning technologies for multi-band handsets. RIM says the Pareatek team has been added to its own radio engineering team, where it will help RIM refine the radios in its phones. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
