HTC Locations for Windows Phone Gains Offline Maps
Mar 29, 2012, 9:17 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Users of HTC's Locations application on the Windows Phone platform now have access to maps when they are offline, thanks to a new update. Once users have updated the Locations app, they may download individual maps (including regions of the U.S.) that can be used when there is no cellular signal. Offline features include turn-by-turn navigation for both vehicles and pedestrians. The update is free, though requires users to have the Mango system update installed on their Windows Phone.
