Instagram today made a version of its popular image-sharing service available to devices running Google's Android platform. It was previously only available to the Apple iPhone. Instagram lets people apply filters and effects to their photos and then share them via Twitter or Facebook. It is a free download from the Google Play Store and requires Android 2.2 and up.
