Verizon Expanding LTE in Nine Markets

Verizon Wireless today announced that it is expanding its LTE 4G network footprint in nine markets across California and Nevada. Markets with increased LTE availability include Bakersfield, Fresno, Modesto, Monterey, Sacramento, Salinas, and the San Francisco Bay area in California, as well as Reno, Nev. According to Verizon, its LTE 4G network will expand in these markets in the coming weeks. Verizon is also launching LTE coverage in Salisbury, Md., beginning April 19.
