Skype for Microsoft's Windows Phone platform has graduated from beta status and is now available from the Marketplace for Mobile as a version 1.0 app. The application, which is free to download, lets users make voice and video calls as well as send instant messages, to other Skype users for free. Calls and texts to non-Skype users are offered at low rates. The application works over both 3G and Wi-Fi.
