Microsoft Licenses Patents to Pegatron

Microsoft today announced that it has licensed a number of patents to Pegatron, an ODM based in Taiwan. The licenses cover smartphones, tablets, and ereaders that might run the Android and Chrome operating systems. Details of the agreement were not disclosed, but Microsoft has made it a business to license smartphone patents to makers of Android devices.
