Facebook provided an update to the Android version of its application today. The update's most significant new feature is that it lets users create group messages from their handset, as well as add friends to existing group messaging sessions. The update also fixes bugs and brings back the home screen shortcuts for sharing messages and photos. The update to version 1.9.3 is free.
