HTC recently updated its support site with information about the timing of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates for its Android smartphones. Based on the info, the bulk of Android 4.0 updates are scheduled to hit handsets between May and July, with all of them to be completed by August. Some of the U.S. devices include the Amaze 4G in May-June; Droid Incredible 2 by the end of August; EVO 3D in June-July; EVO Design 4G in June-July; Rezound in June-July; Rhyme in June-July; ThunderBolt in July-August; and the Vivid in May-June. HTC reminds customers that these dates are targets and partner and network testing, and approval processes for device updates can affect the exact timing.
