UTStarcom Reveals Widescreen Phone

UTStarcom Personal Communications (formerly Audiovox Communications,) today announced the CDM-180, a clamshell CDMA phone with a unique landscape-oriented widescreen display. The CDM-180 also features dual 262,000-color TFT LCD displays, a VGA camera with video capture, speakerphone, and Java or BREW (carrier-dependent). The wide display is designed to display photos and video full-screen, and also better accomodate text messaging.
