Sprint's Latest Green Efforts Involve Reusable Envelope
Jun 6, 2012, 9:17 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Sprint today announced a new initiative meant to help further reduce waste and reduce its carbon footprint. Moving forward, Sprint will use an ecoEnvelope that can be used to mail customers' their bill which can then be re-used by the customer to remit payment. Sprint estimates that using the ecoEnvelope will help it reduce its need for paper, as well as the natural resources used to develop paper and transport it. Sprint believes the switch will result in the equivalent of taking 244 cars off the road for a year and save it 447 tons of paper per year. Sprint customers can also choose paperless billing options.
