Foursquare 5.0 for iOS Now Actively Recommends New Places
Jun 7, 2012, 7:22 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Foursquare today delivered a significant update to its iPhone application, with a fresh take that emphasizes exploration more than simple check-ins. The application now actively recommends nearby places such as bars, restaurants or shops based on the user's and the user's friends' check-in history. In addition to the new recommendation focus, the app has also been significantly redesigned. It is free to download from the iPhone App Store.
