LG Launches Siri Competitor

LG today announced Quick Voice, its answer to Apple's Siri and Samsung's S Voice. The voice control software will run on Optimus-series phones, including certain existing models, including the Vu. The software is configured to control a variety of apps and services, including maps, weather, web search, making calls, texting, alarms, calendar, web search, and settings such as vibrate mode. It also provides voice dictation for messages. The service has been announced initially for the Korean market.
