Google Play Web Site Can Update Android Apps Remotely
Jun 27, 2012, 5:59 PM by Eric M. Zeman
The Google Play Store recently launched a new feature that gives Android device users control over their installed applications from the web-based Google Play Store. Using the Google Play Store on a PC, Android device owners can view all the Android apps that are installed on their various Android devices. Most applications can be installed and/or updated directly from the web client on the PC. Pressing the update button sends the new app software to the handset, which updates the app automatically. The new feature can also be used to uninstall select applications (some manufacturer and carrier apps can't be deleted). The feature is free to use.
