Sprint LTE Launches in 15 - Not 5 - Markets

Sprint today announced that it its initial LTE 4G launch footprint expanded from 5 to 15 markets. Sprint's nascent LTE network launched in the originally announced markets of Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Kansas City, and San Antonio on July 15 as planned. Sprint today revealed that Athens, Calhoun, Carrollton, Newnan, and Rome, Ga.; Fort Worth, Granbury-Hood County, Huntsville, and Waco, Texas; and St. Joseph, Mo. also have access to its LTE 4G network. Sprint said that more cities will have access to its LTE network later this year, but has not yet announced which markets they are.
