Facebook Buys Spool's Employees

Facebook has acquired the staff of mobile app maker Spool. Spool developed Android and iOS applications that allow users to store mobile articles and videos for reading later, whether online or offline. Facebook will shut down those application. Facebook is not acquiring Spool itself nor Spool's assets. Instead, the Spool team will be added to Facebook's mobile development team. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
