Motorola Moving Headquarters to Downtown Chicago

Motorola today announced that it is moving out of the suburbs and into Chicago's central business district. The company has long kept its headquarters in Libertyville, Ill. According to Motorola, it has now signed a lease for Chicago's Merchandise Mart and will relocate there during the summer of 2013. Motorola was founded in Chicago 84 years ago and is now owned by Google, which is based in California.
