Apple to Buy Security Firm AuthenTec for $356M

AuthenTec today said that it has agreed to be acquired by Apple for $356 million. AuthenTec has long been a player in the mobile device security space and makes fingerprint swipes and other biometric security hardware. Apple has not yet indicated what it plans to do with AuthenTec and its mobile security products.
