Amazon Remixes Cloud Player Music Service

Amazon has secured the rights from all four major labels to offer a complete cloud music solution using its "Scan and Match" feature, much like iTunes Match. Users can upload their own music - from ripped CDs or iTunes - to Coud Player, with matched songs skipping the upload process and made available instantly. Songs matched at any quality will be made available in high-quality 256 Kbps format. The service supports unlimited music purchased from Amazon MP3. The free version supports up to 250 uploaded/matched songs, while a premium version supports up to 250,000 songs for $25/year. Clous Player is available for both iOS and Android. Amazon is also separating Cloud Player and Cloud Drive, which will now be independent services with separate subscriptions.
