Google Improves Voice Search for iOS, Adds Gmail Results

Google today announced a series of changes and updates to its core search product. First, Google is extending its Knowledge Graph to English speakers outside the U.S., meaning searchers in the U.K., Australia, and several other regions will be able to see more contextually aware search results on the web. Google is also offering a limited trial wherein users can choose to have search results pulled from their Gmail accounts. This means Google users who are signed into their account and perform a search from Google.com may see results that include information culled from their inbox. Last, Google is offering an upgraded iOS search application (for both iPhone and iPad) that will deliver results using Google's Knowledge Graph. Additionally, the new app will have improved voice search capabilities so that users may speak queries using more natural language. The new iOS app will be available soon.
