Feb 14, 2005, 12:30 PM by (staff)
Danger will add support for Java MIDP 2.0 and CLDC 1.1 to the next Hiptop OS, version 2.3. In addition to running applications specifically designed for the Hiptop (which are also written in Java), the next OS will be able to run programs from the vast library of Java applications already developed for other phones. Danger and carrier partners will offer Java downloads as well as Danger specific applications once the OS update is sent to Hiptops and Sidekicks around the globe.
