Sprint Adds LTE to Baltimore and Other Cities

Sprint today announced a modest expansion of its LTE 4G network, adding Baltimore to the list of cities covered with its new, high-speed service. Baltimore was one of Sprint's first WiMax markets and has now shifted to LTE. In addition to LTE, Sprint also indicated that it has improved its 3G network in the Baltimore, Boston, and Washington, D.C. regions. Sprint has been systematically updating its CDMA 3G network around the country. Other markets gaining access to LTE today include Gainesville, Ga.; Manhattan/Junction City, Kan.; and Sedalia, Mo.
