Google Strengthens Chrome for Android with Update
Sep 12, 2012, 2:18 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Google today published a new version of its Chrome browser for the Android platform. This update focuses on security and plugs a number of holes in the browser. Primarily, Chrome has fortified the sandboxing capabilities of the browser, which separates elements and prevents malicious web sites from taking over the entire browser. The update also steps on a few bugs in the browser, especially on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich devices. Google Chrome for Android is a free download.
