Motorola Acquires Viewdle

Motorola confirmed that it has acquired Viewdle, which develops augmented reality, gesture, and image recognition technology. "Motorola and Viewdle have an existing commercial agreement and have been collaborating for some time," said Motorola in a statement. Viewdle is headquartered in California, but has a significant presence in the Ukraine. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Motorola is owned by Google.
