Oct 30, 2012, 11:31 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Consumer Cellular today announced changes to its voice, messaging, and data plans. Moving forward, all of Consumer Cellular's plans include more minutes, more messages, and more data for the same price. For example, the base Anywhere plan jumps from 100 voice minutes to 150 voice minutes for the same $15 monthly charge. At the high end, the 2,400 minute plan climbs to 4,000 minutes for the same $60 monthly charge. The new data plans offer 2,500 messages and 400MB of data for $20 or 10,000 messages and 1GB of data for $30. The new plans go into effect today. Subscribers don't need to take any action to access these new monthly limits.
