Google Adds AMBER Alerts to Search and Maps

Google today said that it has incorporated AMBER alerts into its Google Search and Google Maps products for both desktop and mobile devices. The service is a joint effort between Google's Public Alerts platform and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The alerts will be displayed and/or visible when people perform certain types of searches in areas where AMBER alerts are active. Google hopes that by making the AMBER alerts more visible to web users, in can increase the chances of positive outcomes. The alerts will contain information about the missing persons' last known whereabouts, their description, as well as information about the potential abductor or abductor's vehicle. The alerts will be displayed automatically and do not require Google users to take any specific action in order to see them.

I am curious how they will fit this into mobile search and maps, while making it informative but non-intrusive.
