Microsoft has released a new version of its Windows Phone Connector app for Apple's OS X computers. The updated software chiefly adds support for Windows Phone 8 devices. It also allows Mac/WP8 users to drag-and-drop files between the desktop and/or finder apps of their computer to and from the phone. The new app supports the newest versions of iPhone and Aperture; can display battery charge state; adds new ringtone management features; and supports Retina Display Macs. Windows Phone Connector for Mac version 3.0 is a free download from the Apple App Store.
